Decolonising the Curriculum was awarded for Outstanding Contribution to Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity in the Kent Student Awards 2019. An award that celebrates groups that have been actively promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity through their projects.
In this year, our team has been advocating for the diversification of our curriculums. Engaging the student body through Focus Groups and talks to promote the conversation and get a better understanding of our collective needs.
